TimeCapsule backups
Our own managed backup service. It copies the folders you choose to storage in South Africa on a schedule you set, and it is built so that ransomware cannot take your backups down with your files.
How it works
- We install the TimeCapsule app on your Windows computers or server.
- You pick the folders and the schedule in the customer portal, or we set it up for you.
- Backups run on time and pick up where they left off if the connection drops. Any backup can be downloaded from the portal.
What sets it apart
Ransomware cannot delete it
The app on your computer can only add new backups. It has no way to delete or overwrite the ones already stored, so neither does anything that takes over that computer.
It notices an attack
Every backup is compared with the ones before it. If your files suddenly look encrypted, that backup is flagged and your older, clean backups are kept.
Tripwires in every folder
Hidden marker files sit in each folder being backed up. If something encrypts them, backups pause until we have checked your computer.
Nothing is quietly left out
Everything in the folders you choose is backed up, hidden files included. A file that cannot be read is named in the report, never skipped in silence.
Stored in South Africa, watched by us
Your backups stay in the country, and failed or suspicious backups show up on our side, not only on yours.
